Free Trial Class at Gymboree Munich
Try a Gymboree Munich class for free (except for our English Kids Club which costs €20). Register, then choose a session that suits your child’s age and interests. Our trial sessions give you and your child a chance to experience our play-based programmes first-hand, meet our team and see if Gymboree feels right for your family.
What to expect at your trial class
Your trial class follows the same format as our regular sessions, so you’ll get a true sense of what a Gymboree class is like.
When you arrive, our team will welcome you and your child and show you around our 260 square metre play and learn centre. Each class is 45 minutes long (English Kids Club, 2 hours) and led by one of our trained teachers. You’ll join in activities alongside your child for the younger age groups (babies and toddlers), while our classes for 3-5 year olds are designed for children to participate independently. Parents are welcome to wait in our reception area.
Which class is right for my child?
We offer classes across three main age bands:
- Babies (2-14 months) – Sensory exploration, gentle movement and bonding time. Includes Babies, Crawlers and Baby Music classes.
- Toddlers (10-36 months) – Active play, early social development and creative activities. Includes Walkers, Runners, Family Music, Family Play and Family Arts & Crafts.
- Pre-schoolers (3-5 years) – Confidence building, early English language learning and structured creative play. Includes English Kids Club and Arts & Crafts. Pre-schoolers can also participate in all Family classes, together with a parent/care giver.
If you’re not sure which class is the best fit, get in touch and we’ll happily recommend one based on your child’s age and interests.
What to bring
We provide everything needed for the class itself, including all play equipment, instruments and materials. We just ask that you bring the following:
- Comfortable clothing your child can move and play freely in
- Socks for parents. Children should be barefoot on our playfloor and should have house shoes or non-slip socks for our secondary room.
- A lock for your stroller/pram, as they must be parked outside.

Finding us
Gymboree Munich is in Forum Bogenhausen at Richard-Strauss-Strasse 80, 81679 München. We are directly on the Mittlerer Ring and easy to reach by car or public transport.
- By car: Free underground parking is available in the Forum Bogenhausen car park for 90 minutes. The car park is accessible via Denninger Strasse.
- By public transport: The nearest U-Bahn station is Richard-Strauss-Straße (U4). There are also bus stops right in front of Forum Bogenhausen and the tram stop (Tram 16) is a short walk away at Effnerplatz.
