What to expect at your trial class

Your trial class follows the same format as our regular sessions, so you’ll get a true sense of what a Gymboree class is like.

When you arrive, our team will welcome you and your child and show you around. Each class is 45 minutes long and led by one of our trained teachers. You’ll join in activities alongside your child.

After class you can feed your child in our snack area and enjoy a free tea or coffee.

Which class is right for my child?

We offer classes across three main age bands:

Babies (2-14 months) – Sensory exploration, gentle movement and bonding time. Includes Babies, Crawlers and Baby Music classes.
Toddlers (10-36 months) – Active play, early social development and creative activities. Includes Walkers, Runners, Family Music, Family Play and Family Arts & Crafts.

If you’re not sure which class is the best fit, get in touch and we’ll happily recommend one based on your child’s age and interests.

What to bring

We provide everything needed for the class itself, including all play equipment, instruments and materials. We just ask that you bring the following:

Comfortable clothing your child can move and play freely in
Socks for parents for hygiene reason. For balance and grip children should be barefoot on our playfloor.
A lock for your stroller/pram, as they must be parked outside.

Finding us

Gymboree Geneva is in Grand-Saconnex at Rue Sonnex 13.

By car: There is parking all around the building, you need to display your blue parking disc for an hour free. There is also the Migros car park and a paying carpark opposite Gymboree
By public transport: Bus n° 3 stops at Gardiol just outside Gymboree. Bus n° 22 stops at Sonnex, a minutes’ walk away.

- 08:35 - 09:20 Walkers 10-18 months
  
  For (relatively) new walkers! We explore new physical challenges each week through teacher-led activities on our fantastic equipment. Crawl through tunnels, explore different textures, slide down slides or climb up slides, toddle over bridges or take a ride in a swing.
- 09:40 - 10:25 Crawlers 6-14 months
  
  We boogie down with our babies and toddlers, sing them songs and explore new physical challenges each week through teacher-led activities on our fantastic play equipment.
- 10:45 - 11:30 Runners 16-24 months
  
  .It´s all about opposites: loud & quiet, fast & slow, up & down. Contrasting "themes" help your child learn to communicate effectively. This active class has plenty of equipment exploration time to support gross motor development and practice problem solving.
- 11:30 - 13:30 Play Time 0-5 years
  
  Children of all ages (crawling-5 years) are given free range to explore our playscapes, with their adults within a hug’s reach. For members only.
- 14:00 - 16:00 Play group 0-5 years
  
  In this mixed-age class, our playscapes transform through imaginary themes. Throw a pretend party, imagine a wild trip to outer space or pretend to be an ant in a bug´s world.
Tuesday
- 08:35 - 09:20 Explorers 22-36 months
  
  Engage with your toddler (24-36 months) in an imaginative class, providing opportunities to explore creativity through imaginary play. We transform our playfloor into a pretend party, an adventure to outer space, or a bug’s world.
- 09:40 - 10:25 Walkers 10-18 months
