Preschool welcomes your children from September to June Monday to Friday mornings 8h30 to 12h00.
Our Preschool classes are designed to help your child learn the important social skills they need to start school. To make this process easier we highly recommend a minimum of 3 half-days per week.Your child must have turned 2 years old to start Preschool.
Our focus is on building the often overlooked but essential social skills that children need before they can master other basic skills required of them during the school years. The program provides opportunities for your child to interact independently with their peers and put into practice all the skills you’ve taught them on their own. Each class includes a wide array of activities that encourage peer interaction, promoting cooperation, curiosity and the capacity to communicate. These group experiences will help children develop the ability to follow directions, take turns and build confidence to accomplish new skills.
At Gymboree your child will be doing art, preschool activities, mouvement and play on our equipement, pre-writing skills and story time as well as exploration of basic skills including letter and letter sound recognition. Our small class size and high teacher student ratio, combined with our multi-sensory approach and positive learning environment, help make learning fun.
We are currently taking enrolments in our Bilingual Preschool for the news school year 2021/22
